Drawing and Painting Class

  • 6Steps

Drawing and painting classes are designed to teach students the fundamental techniques and principles of visual art. These classes can range from beginner to advanced levels and may focus on a variety of media, including pencil, charcoal, ink, watercolour, acrylic, oil, and mixed media. In drawing classes, students learn to develop their observational skills, study line, shape, form, value, and composition, and explore a range of drawing techniques. Students may also learn about art history and the cultural contexts of various drawing styles. Painting classes typically cover a range of painting techniques, from colour mixing and brushwork to layering and glazing. Students learn to use a variety of materials, such as watercolour, acrylic, and oil paints, and develop an understanding of colour theory, composition, and the use of light and shadow. Both drawing and painting classes typically involve hands-on, studio-based work, with opportunities for individual and group critiques and feedback. Please send us the message if you are interested.
